Groomer's Assistant
Job Description: Primary responsibility to prepare dogs for groomer as well as groom dogs that do not require haircuts including but not limited to nail trims, ear cleaning, washing dogs, brush-outs, cleaning salon, and light administrative work.
Skills you must have:
- Willing to learn
- Good attitude
- Good repoire with dogs and their people
- Patience
- Attention to detail
- Willing to work through challenges
- Communication skills
Preferred but not required skills include:
- Haircuts,
- Prior experience as groomer’s assistant
- Basic computer skills,
- Prior MoeGo knowledge
- Prior professional experience with dogs ie. dog training and/or behavior
